Daba: “now”, in Moroccan Arabic

Know what to work on first. Every morning.

daba turns your goals, your to-dos and your calendar into a short plan for today, in under two minutes. Then one click starts the first task.

daba's Today screen: the one task to start with, the rest of the plan, and today's schedule with meetings and focus blocks
  1. 1

    Say what you want

Type or speak your goals for the next few weeks. daba turns them into goals, milestones and first tasks.

  2. 2

Plan the day in two minutes

Each morning, accept or adjust the suggested plan and pick the one thing you start with.

  3. 3

    Start

One click opens a focus session on that task. Close the day with a two-minute review.

Every morning

A plan, not a list.

daba suggests today's tasks from your goals, what's dated today and what's left from yesterday, sized to the time you actually have. You adjust it, star the one thing you start with, and confirm.

  • Yesterday's leftovers get a decision: today, later or drop
  • A warning when you plan more than fits
  • Yesterday's coaching note, right where you plan
The morning planning screen: a suggested plan with one starred task, next to today's schedule

Your calendar

Time that actually exists.

Connect Google Calendar and meetings come off your capacity. Drag tasks into the free slots, or let daba fill them for you. Your focus blocks can show up in Google Calendar so others see you as busy.

  • Several Google accounts, side by side
  • Every goal's tasks listed beside the week
  • Type “call the bank on the 7th” and the date is set
The week view: meetings from two calendars with focus blocks for tasks scheduled around them

Doing the work

One task. One timer.

Start a focus session from any task with one click. The screen shows only that task and the time left. Stray thoughts go to the inbox without leaving the session.

  • Optional ambient sound
  • Pause, add 10 minutes, or end early
  • Afterwards: done, need more time, or blocked
The focus screen: a countdown ring around the remaining time for a single task

Looking back

An honest look at the week.

A two-minute shutdown closes the day, and a short coaching note tells you what the numbers say. Plan strength is four checks you can read, not a black box.

  • Focus time per goal against your target
  • How your estimates compare with reality
  • A journal of every note and review
The review screen: a plan strength score of 100, progress per goal and four weeks of focus time

What matters

Goals that stay in view.

Dump everything you want from your next cycle, 4 to 12 weeks. daba separates the goals, asks what's unclear, and helps you sort them into focus, nice to have and routine. Then it proposes first steps for each.

  • Milestones and next actions per goal
  • A flag when a goal gets no time for a week
  • A wrap-up when the cycle is over
The goals screen: goals grouped into focus, nice to have and routine, each with its next task and weekly progress

Tomorrow morning, start with one thing.

Set up takes about five minutes and ends with a real plan for today.
